The Pratt Student Union is the center of student life on the Brooklyn Campus. Reopening in the fall of 2018, the Student Union is a place for the Pratt community to gather, study, relax, and innovate. The Student Union provides spaces for student groups to meet and for project teams to collaborate.
Staffed by a team of Pratt students and professionals, the Student Union strives to serve as both the living room and downtown of the Pratt Brooklyn Campus. The Student Union is an inclusive space for all and will serve to foster the connection between student and Institute.
The Student Union features a main space with stadium seating and projector capability. Holding over 250 persons, the Student Union is ideal for larger student programs. The space also features three conference rooms, complete with video displays. You can take a brief tour of our facilities here.
The Student Union’s main space offers limited privacy. If your event requires privacy or involves sensitive content, select a different venue.
Student reservations and student activities take priority whenever classes are in session. If your event is anticipated to have fewer than 50 attendees, reserving the main space removes it from use for the students who rely on it to serve their cocurricular life – please choose a more appropriately sized space instead.
The Student Union reserves the right to deny main space requests that are not student facing, are not the appropriate size, and discuss sensitive material.
