Pratt Summer Housing is very limited, based on availability. Assignment offers will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer housing for 2024 will be in Willoughby Hall 2nd & 3rd floors, only.

Please be aware that major renovation projects are planned for Willoughby Hall this summer. Construction will be several floors away from where students are living, but noise may begin as early as 7AM. The elevators will be in high use by the contractors, so residents will be encouraged to use the stairs whenever they are able.

With limited space and tight timelines for moving from Spring to Summer rooms at the start of Summer, and moving from Summer to Fall rooms at the end, please consider whether Summer Housing on campus meets your needs, and plan accordingly.

To be eligible to live on campus housing during the Summer, you must meet, and maintain, one of the following requirements:

1) Be enrolled, and remain enrolled, in Summer coursework at Pratt

2) Be enrolled, and remain enrolled, for a Summer internship

Pratt’s Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) has resources to assist you in finding and registering for an internship over the Summer.  You can also email them with questions at

3) Be working, and remain working, in an Pratt Institute office at the Brooklyn campus

Summer housing applications will be available starting on March 29, 2024, at our Housing Portal:

Please Note: You can apply for Summer Housing without having met one of these requirements yet. But, if by the date of your scheduled move in, you will not be able to do so if one of the requirements has not been met.

Please Also Note:  You must use your Pratt OneKey login to access our housing portal.  If you are new to Pratt, and have not yet received your OneKey information, you cannot apply for Summer Housing until you have the OneKey login credentials.

For current Spring 2024 on campus residents:  If you apply for Summer Housing from the beginning of the 10 week Summer Sessions, you will be able to remain in your Spring room until your Summer room is ready, likely around May 17th to May 30th.

Spring on campus residents must be around and available to move out of your Spring room and into your Summer room during this time frame, otherwise you may need to move out completely by the Spring Move Out deadline, May 8th, and return at a later date for Summer Housing.  Please plan accordingly.
