Dr. Jessica Mitchell-Corsino
Director of Counseling Center
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Dr. Mitchell is a clinical psychologist licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Michigan. She blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Humanistic/Existential Therapy, and Solutions-Focused therapy in her work with students. Her clinical interests include self-esteem, anxiety, depression, development and utilization of coping skills, and adjustment-related concerns. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, surfing, and cheering on her hometown team, the Detroit Pistons. 


Scott Zotto, LCSW
Associate Director of Counseling Center
Pronouns: he/him/his

Scott is a New York State licensed clinical social worker with 16 years of experience working in college mental health. He draws from various theoretical frameworks including Psychodynamic-relational Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and more. As an out clinician Scott manages his own private practice working with the LGBTQIA+ community and has devoted much of his work to supporting and advocating for his community. In his free time Scott enjoys shared experiences around NYC with his family of choice including his husband and his pup. 


Dr. Morteza Modarres Gharavi
Supervising Psychologist
Pronouns: He/Him 

Dr. Gharavi is a New York State licensed psychologist and psychoanalyst and a graduate of the William Alanson White Institute. He has extensive clinical experience working with adults and young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. His approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing on psychodynamic, relational, and culturally responsive perspectives while adapting treatment to each student’s needs. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, identity, life transitions, and adjustment difficulties. He values creating a thoughtful and supportive space where students can speak openly, better understand themselves, and develop meaningful ways of navigating their lives and relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys watching movies, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.


Veronica Coffie
Staff Arts Therapist 

Veronica Coffie is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. She integrates Creative Arts Therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approaches in her work with students. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, body image concerns, grief, identity exploration, life transitions, and creative blocks. Veronica is passionate about creating accessible wellness spaces and using the creative arts to foster connection, self discovery, resilience, and community well being. Her approach helps students recognize their strengths, develop coping tools, and feel more confident navigating daily challenges. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, snorkeling, going to the beach, creating art and listening to live music.


Hasunehana “Hana” Chowdhury
Administrative Manager & Assessment Coordinator

Hasunehana proudly supports the Pratt Community and its students because she believes in the power of art and creativity to inspire hope, beauty, and the spark within. She values working with Pratt students because she holds deep respect and gratitude for their dedication to this great pursuit, and she finds fulfillment in working within the systems that support their development and growth in their journey as artists and people. Outside of her work, she enjoys caring for her houseplants, experimenting with cooking, printmaking, random crafts, and dancing. 


Jessica L. Preston
Operations

Serving as the Operations Manager for the newly formed Health and Wellness Center at Pratt Institute, Jessica brings 7.5 years of campus leadership experience dedicated to driving strategic initiatives, process improvements, and community well-being. Her academic foundation—comprising dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art and Anthropology, alongside a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt—pairs a deep understanding of human behavior with a commitment to holistic care. As an artist specializing in pop culture and surrealism with a background in technology, Jessica leverages a distinct perspective to interpret visual language and navigate the nuances of the human experience. Ultimately, Jessica uses art, analytical strategy, and empathetic communication to guide the organization through complex challenges, build meaningful connections, and foster a thriving environment for Pratt’s community.


Hanne Larsen
Wellness Administrative Coordinator

Hanne Larsen is a Brooklyn-based creative and admin queen. She has a strong background in project management and specializes in maintaining smooth processes and managing projects that center the people within it. She is on a mission to infuse the huge gaps in the healthcare system with empathy so patients can move from surviving to thriving. At Pratt, she loves creating programming for students that focuses on self care, empowerment, and community. She is also a movement instructor, specializing in Mindful Pilates and Pelvic Floor Yoga, and primarily serving the chronic and LGBTQIA communities. Outside of work, she can be found honing her creative practice, enjoying time in the park, dancing, or hanging out with her two cats.
