UKG Ready—currently used for time and attendance—is expanding to include benefits and payroll. This means one central system for time and attendance, benefits, and payroll for all faculty and staff. (Note: student employees will use UKG ready to view their pay stubs, but will still use NextGen to log time and attendance.)
This page is your one‑stop resource for updates on the UKG Ready expansion. Here you’ll find the rationale behind the changes, timelines, FAQs, and guidance on what you need to do as a faculty, staff, or student employee
Rationale for System Changes
- Streamlined processes: Fewer logins, fewer systems to juggle, and clearer workflows. Consolidating time and attendance, payroll, and benefits into one system reduces complexity and gives employees easier access to their employment information in one single location.
- Support for all employee groups: Faculty, staff, and student employees will benefit from consistent access and functionality.
