Katya Bolanos, Fantasia, 2026

This collection explores a unique, weird, and excessive world through horse hair, nails and glamour as well as integrating personal elements of my identity through western wear such as hats, boots, and buckles, along with my latin heritage, showcasing the beauty of diversity and what makes it. It is taking something known and traditional and distorting it from its intended purpose to create something new and unique. This is a celebration of one’s self, being unapologetically authentic, weird, and taking pride in where you come from.
