DRIFT explores how garments hold time physically through wear, surface, and material. A contrast between utility and the illusion of aging creates romantic intimacy with the wearer. Structured forms are softened through surface treatments and silk, shifting between rigidity and sensitivity. Textiles are developed using laser-cut stencils, flocking, and overdyeing, producing a weathered yet intentional finish. Industrial elements, including CNC and bandsaw-cut components, emphasize precision and constructed permanence, while driftwood reads as organic, shaped by environment and time. DRIFT reflects how garments soften through use, becoming personal, worn, and intimate as they accumulate traces of living and change.
