The PrattCard remains the property of Pratt Institute. The card may be confiscated or revoked at any time by a designated official. The PrattCard is non-transferable and should be carried by an individual at all times while they are on campus. Fraudulent use of the card will result in disciplinary action and may result in loss of benefits associated with the card.
No transactions will be processed once the balance for a PrattBucks account has been exhausted. Cards are accepted at participating off-campus and on-campus locations, including print labs and copy stations. No cash withdrawals can be made from the card. PrattBucks may not be used to purchase tobacco, alcohol, firearms, or lottery products.
PrattBucks Refund Policy
Requests for refunds will only be granted to students upon graduation or withdrawal from Pratt Institute. Faculty and staff may obtain refunds upon separation from Pratt Institute. All requests for refunds must be received within ninety (90) days of graduation, withdrawal, or employment separation from Pratt Institute. No refunds will be issued on balances below $30. Any funds left in an account longer than ninety (90) days will be forfeited and used as an administrative fee. Refunds will be issued within three (3) weeks from the date that the request is received. Refunds will only be issued by check made payable to the cardholder. Checks will be mailed to the address provided on the form. Please note in the event a check must be reissued, an administrative fee of $30 will be charged to replace the check. The fee will be deducted from the amount of the replacement check.

Any personal information collected for the PrattCard, including personal images, will only be used for Institute purposes and within the established guidelines. Any data collected on the use of the Institute facilities and services by the cardholder will be treated in the same manner. Information regarding the cardholder will not be provided to third parties unless required by law or with written permission of the cardholder. Information regarding cardholder(s) is considered strictly confidential and is securely maintained. Cardholder information will only be shared in the following manner unless the cardholder has signed a privacy waiver; completion of a transaction, verification of account, compliance with judicial order or a lawfully issued subpoena.
