Non-degree (non-matriculated or special students) undergraduate applicants include:

Special Students

Acceptance as a non-degree or special student is based on the applicant’s background and ability to complete successfully the work of the course. No more than eighteen credits may be accumulated as a non-matriculated student, and no more than six credits may be taken per semester without written permission of the chairperson. International students may not take courses as non-matriculated students. They must be full-time matriculated students to meet immigration regulations.

Financial aid is not available for non-matriculated students.

Non-degree/special students should submit the non-degree application form available on this website in pdf format via mail or in person with all documents required on the form with the $55 application fee in check form. Applications are welcome from all qualified students including transfer students. An official transcript showing the high school degree must be attached. College students must submit an official college transcript.

Application Process

Please submit a complete application with your official transcript confirming receipt of your baccalaureate degree. Your application will not be evaluated until all materials are received. Before you can be registered for the classes below, the Registrar’s Office must obtain permission from the Department Chairperson offering the course. Please allow three weeks for this process.

Non-degree/special students must submit the non-degree application form via mail or in person with the $55 fee to:
