Sarah Fathallah (they/she) is a social designer, researcher, and educator, who specializes in applying participatory design and research to the social sector.

They have worked on projects of all sizes in over 25 countries, on topics ranging from labor rights, to reproductive health, and housing justice. Their projects have included work with non-profits, governments, and social enterprises such as the International Domestic Workers Federation, the International Rescue Committee, Open Society Foundations, and Population Services International, to name a few.

In addition to teaching practical ethnography at Pratt Institute, they are currently the VP of Research and Design at Think of Us, and serve as an instructor at the UC Berkeley Extension School and visiting faculty at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design.
