Dr. Rodric Bowman is an accomplished public health, emergency management, and public safety professional with experience developing comprehensive emergency management plans and serving as a senior leader, responsible for statewide emergency management programs. His experience spans public, private, and nonprofit sectors where he has been responsible for leading emergency planning efforts, directing policy development, and coordinating with large organizations with multiple priorities, including risk assessment, response planning, continuity of operations and business continuity planning, and the development of comprehensive response protocols for a broad spectrum of emergencies.

Most recently, Dr. Bowman served as the Director for Northeastern Operations for The Olson Group, LTD where he provided subject matter expertise and emergency management solutions to a wide array of clients across all sectors. Immediately prior to his work with The Olson Group, Dr. Bowman led the Disaster Cycle Services program for the New Jersey Region of the American Red Cross. Dr. Bowman has also held various senior leadership positions throughout his career, including roles of Senior Director for Emergency Management Operations at New York City Health + Hospitals and Deputy Preparedness Chief at the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. Dr. Bowman is an adjunct professor at Wichita State University where he instructs courses in Emergency Management and Risk Assessment.
