Rebecca Williams

Rebecca Williams is a writer, professor, and artist exploring how technology shapes power. Her work explores how we can resist surveillance and extraction while building institutions rooted in care, self-determination, and collective freedom. She works on privacy and data governance at the ACLU and serves on the board of MuckRock. Her research and commentary have been featured in Wired, MIT Technology Review, The New Republic, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, and Tech Policy Press.
