Biography
Exhibitions include Jamie Wolff Gallery, Barbara Toll Gallery, Holly Solomon Gallery; national and international group exhibitions; publications and reviews include The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Paris Review, Art in America, Town & Country, Sports Illustrated; awards include NEA (1995), NYFA awards (1985–1995), John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship for Fine Art (2014); teaching experience also includes Columbia University, Bard College, Bennington College, The Cooper Union; The Metropolitan Museum of Art (2005–2009), where he also lectured; panels include American Folk Art Museum: Discussions on Adolf Wolfli, CAA (New York), the New York Academy of Art.
