Phil Bicker is a creative director and educator whose multifaceted career has traversed editorial, advertising, social media, and multimedia—consistently championing emerging voices and challenging creative boundaries. From his formative, influential work as Art Director at The Face magazine—where he gave Kate Moss her breakout cover story—to his recent decade-long tenure at Instagram—where he shaped content and strategy for the official @instagram account—Bicker has built a practice defined by breaking new talent and fostering collaboration across disciplines.
His diverse path through fashion, art, music, news, and culture has positioned him as a creative catalyst. Whether commissioning photographers, platforming underrepresented creators, or directing large-scale campaigns, Bicker’s work centers on empowering fresh perspectives and bringing them to wider audiences.
