Meredith Wisner
Biography
Meredith Wisner is an Assistant Professor teaching Art Librarianship in the School of Information at Pratt Institute. Concurrently, she serves as Research & Instruction Librarian for Arts & Literature at Barnard College, where she supports fine and performing arts students and faculty, and coordinates the Library’s first-year instruction program.
Before joining Pratt, Meredith was the Assistant Director of Archives at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG92, where she developed interactive exhibits that leveraged the Navy Yard’s collections and built their patron-facing content management system. Her knowledge of Brooklyn waterfront history earned her a position as a research assistant on Jennifer Egan’s novel Manhattan Beach.
