Biography
Marissa is the Director of Academic Programs & Outreach, Noncredit for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at Pratt. She leads the development and management of innovative NonCredit programs that expand access to creative education and strengthen workforce pathways. and connect Pratt’s academic excellence with the evolving needs of students, professionals, and communities.
Throughout her career, Marissa has advanced the role of arts and design as tools for community impact and opportunity. Before joining Pratt, she worked at Americans for the Arts, where she developed national field education initiatives supporting local arts agencies across the country, with a focus on arts-based community development, equitable support for artists, and civic engagement through the arts.
At Pratt, she has led strategic initiatives, including the launch of the Institute’s first prison education program in fashion design in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Corrections.
