Manuela Aronofsky
Biography
Manuela Aronofsky is the Middle School Technology Integrator and digital essentials teacher at The Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, where she previously worked as Middle School Library Assistant. She is currently serving on the ALSC Board of Directors.
Manuela’s career and library-focused interests include:
- teaching and talking about digital literacy to tweens
- expanding inclusivity and cultural competency in the school library environment
- coordinating volunteer work with the Prison Library Support Network
- exploring the act of reading as a community-building experience
Manuela also runs the Gowanus-based community space Lunita Loft.
