Biography
Jamie Kleinberg is a Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager with more than twelve years of experience in the sustainable building industry. Her strength is the thoughtful communication of complex, technical information in ways that are meaningful, relevant, and easily understood by a diverse audience. In her current role as Associate Director of Building Decarbonization at INF Associates, Jamie leads consulting initiatives and technical studies for a wide range of clients across residential, government, and other public service sectors.
In her previous role as Energy Manager, Strategic Planning for Sustainability at the NYC School Construction Authority, she developed and executed sustainability initiatives for NYC public schools with a focus on electrification and decarbonization. Prior to that, she served as Senior Program Manager at the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services, where she supported NYC municipal agencies with strategic long-term carbon and energy reduction planning for their building portfolios. Jamie previously worked as a Building Systems Engineer at Steven Winter Associates, where she provided consulting services for building portfolios with a focus on decarbonization, operations, and energy efficiency. Jamie also previously served as Assistant Manager of Research and Policy at Urban Green Council, an environmental non-profit.
