Biography
Elise Pelletier is a Brooklyn-based fashion designer whose work fuses craftsmanship with a wholistic approach to sustainability. She brings a thoughtful approach to luxury fashion design—balancing global cultural relevance, technological innovation and mindfulness through development of sustainable textiles, fully-fashioned knitwear and zero-waste garment making. Her professional experience includes working for boundary-pushing labels such as Ohne Titel, Aisling Camps, Gauntlett Cheng, and Luar, as well as partnering beyond the traditional fashion design community through projects facilitated by media companies such as Smooth Technology. Beyond her professional fashion design work, Elise shares her expertise as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Fashion at Pratt Institute to both BFA and MFA students, guiding the next generation of designers in conscious and ethical design practices.
