Over the last 30 years Chamille has worked in the areas of Packaging, Furniture, and Product Design in addition to her role as a full time professor for the last 21 years. Most notably she spent 12 years at Estee Lauder working in research and development in a small blue-sky corporate level group. Her interest in furniture has never diminished and though her career began working with Eva Ziesel and Charles Pollock she continues to build furniture in her studio in Orange County. As an avid motorcyclist, cyclist, and sports car enthusiast, she has a love of all things with wheels and this has manifested at Pratt in her Mobility Studio which she has taught for many years. “Design is a creative process subjected to a scientific method”.
Bachelor of Industrial Design, Pratt Institute ’94
