Biography
Amy Stokes is a Principal at Kalel Companies, a Minority and Woman Owned affordable housing company. Kalel is focused on transforming communities and creating wealth in undeserved areas through providing affordable housing and social programming. Kalel Companies currently has approximately 3,000 units in the pipeline for both new construction and rehabilitation. Prior to joining Kalel, Amy was a Vice President at Monadnock Development where she managed the development of over 2,000 units of affordable housing. Amy was also a Deputy Director of Real Estate Development at the New York City Housing Authority where she closed the first RAD transaction in Far Rockaway and helped craft NYCHA’s RAD-PACT program. Amy is currently on the boards for the Fund for Public Housing as well as the NY Housing Conference.
