March 12, 2026 6:15 PM – 7:30 PM

Higgins Hall Auditorium, 61 St. James Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238

A dramatic black and white photo shows a nine by nine grid of small models mounted on a white wall, casting dark shadows. These physical models are variations on forms that are digitally generated by using text-to-point cloud prompts and artificial intelligence.

This spring, the Transductions Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Experimentation will bring together a group of architecture and design educators from a variety of schools for a conversation on the emergence of artificial intelligence and its potential to open up new experimental, co-creative, and co-generative areas of architectural inquiry. Convened by the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, symposium participants will include Jonas Coersmeier, Curry J. Hackett, Ed Keller, Sandra Manninger, and Jason Vigneri-Beane. Please join us in Higgins Hall for questions, critiques, and conversation amidst a visual backdrop of imagery.

This event is open to the public and will be recorded.
