Pratt Shows: Media and Materials
May 15, 2025 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
NANCY ROSS PROJECT SPACE, MAIN 205 & SH 205

In the Media and Materials I and II course, students engaged in a series of studio activities that explored new ways of working with image, sound, and text using digital and interactive technology. These studio activities informed students’ future planning for K-12 learners, addressing children’s interests, needs and development, as well as the practical limitations of supplies, budget, class size and space. Students learned to translate and adapt contemporary ideas in ways that could support K-12 learners to engage in meaningful and critical making.
Pratt Shows are public exhibitions and presentations by Pratt Institute’s graduating students in 30+ different fields, now through May.
