Holding Space

March 26, 2026 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Main Campus, North Hall, Rm 213, 200 Willoughby Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11205

Overhead view of open paint jars filled with thick orange and teal paint resting on a surface covered in multicolored brushstrokes. Additional jars with yellow and red paint are partially visible at the bottom edge. Several paintbrushes with wooden handles and gold metal ferrules lie vertically along the right side of the frame. The background is layered with blended pastel tones, including pink, green, yellow, and white, creating a textured, abstract surface.

The Counseling Center (CC) and the Creative Arts Therapy Department (CAT) are coming together to provide a supportive environment for Pratt Undergraduate Students and the broader Pratt community.

In a cozy setting, Pratt’s CAT graduate students will guide you through various arts-based activities to foster healing and expression. CAT uses active engagement in the arts to support mental, emotional, developmental, and behavioral well-being.

Drop in between 7-7:30pm and leave as you need. Tea will be offered. An additional room will be set aside for anyone who may need a private space at any time during the event.

This is a welcoming and safe space. Folx are encouraged to come as they are.

This series is organized by the Counseling Center’s Hanne Larsen and CAT’s graduate students Zoe Abronson and Irene Cho.

*Pratt CAT’s graduate students are under the supervision of Licensed Creative Arts Therapists.
