Bystander Intervention to Stop Anti-Semitic Harassment

April 16, 2024 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM

Center for Equity & Inclusion
Hosted by Right To Be

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for a screening of a 75-minute interactive training on bystander intervention with Right To Be’s 5Ds methodology developed with T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights. Explore forms of antisemitism, from microaggressions to violence, using the “spectrum of disrespect.” Learn effective intervention strategies: distract, delegate, document, delay, and direct while prioritizing your safety. Practice interventions and leave feeling empowered to address antisemitic harassment online or in person. The screening will be followed by an open discussion.
