Tumbleweed, a senior thesis film by Danny Maloney, BFA Film ’26, will make its festival debut at the New York Short Film Festival. “Tumbleweed follows a young man’s journey as his imaginary friend returns to guide him through a turbulent time, and he learns that accepting other truths is a part of growing up,” said Maloney. “The core dialogue between Max and Barrie, the siblings at the heart of the narrative, is something I am immensely proud to have developed with my dear friends Enes and Ella, and we’re ecstatic to share their story with you.”
