This fall, the DX Center will be partnering with two NYC agencies through the Pitchfest program: the Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS) and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS). Both agencies will be matched with students in Visiting Assistant Professor Rachel Ginsberg’s course, INFO 682 Projects in Information Experience Design. One team will work with DORIS to redesign the Government Publications Portal, and a second team will partner with DCAS and another student volunteer team from Vanderbilt University to design a centralized digital hub to make the city’s civil service system more accessible and navigable for New Yorkers.
