Rumi Agarwal, BFA Fine Arts (Painting) ’29, has won the prestigious 2026 AXA Art Prize US for The Night Wears Prussian Blue, the first time a Pratt student has received this honor. The AXA Art Prize is one of the leading student art competitions in the United States and, this year, received nearly 600 submissions from 132 schools. Agarwal’s exhibition will travel as part of the award, providing an opportunity for the work to reach audiences beyond New York.
