Professor of Art and Design Education Louise Butler was chosen as the 2026 NYSATA Region Art Educator of the Year for Region Eight. The award, decided by professional peers, acknowledges her outstanding service and commitment to art education. Butler will receive her award and special recognition at NYSATA’s 78th annual conference, Mind, Body, Spirit: Awakening Awareness Through Artistic Practice.
