Pattaraphan Salirathavibhaga, BFA Fine Arts (Jewelry) ’17, recently spoke with The New York Times and Forbes about her eponymous jewelry label PATTARAPHAN. “PATTARAPHAN as a brand, and the way we’re approaching jewelry, is heavily relying on storytelling. The brand’s name is my name, and my name means beautiful skin. I approach jewelry as something that should delight you. There is a playfulness within the work that I do, but I do take it seriously. I would describe it more as a serious playfulness, because there’s some elements of really crafting and distilling and intentionally making a design.”
