Anneke Risch, BFA Communications Design ’26, was the top observer (of 742 observers) in this year’s City Nature Challenge: New York City (as mr_slug on iNaturalist). Risch also co-organized a recent Pratt-sponsored event that got students, faculty, and staff out observing species in NYC. Her thesis, a children’s book about a cicada searching for his voice, will be on view at Pratt Shows: Design.
