Anjali Chandrashekar, BID ’15, reflected on her first five cartoons for The New Yorker. “I started making cartoons during COVID when the world felt bleak, and I was questioning my voice as an artist and how I wanted to shape my practice. Making cartoons saved me, in the most dramatic way possible. It’s been fun, challenging and eye opening and one of the hardest things I’ve worked towards.”
