Abhishek Tuiwala, MFA Fine Arts (Sculpture) ’21, has been selected for a two-year public art installation of The Boundaries with Culture Lab LIC in Long Island City, New York City. “The project marks an important new direction in my practice, extending my ongoing investigation into perception, boundaries, social structures, and the ways familiar forms and materials can carry larger cultural meanings,” said Tuiwala. “Moving the work into the public realm allows these ideas to encounter audiences beyond the conventional gallery and museum context, within the everyday experience of the city.” The Boundaries will be installed in October 2026.
