We recommend taking public transportation, a taxi, or a rideshare service (Uber, Lyft) to the ceremony, as parking is extremely limited.
Friends and family are eligible to apply for a U.S. visitor visa at any point, with no specific invitation letter required by the Department of State. Pratt’s Office of International Affairs (OIA) does not provide visitor invitation letters for friends and family, but your student can write an invitation letter. If you would like an invitation letter, your student can use this sample invitation letter template.

A ticket is required for all those ages two (2) and older. Babies and children ages two (2) years and under do not need tickets.
Graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed, which is open to all and does not require any log-in. The link will be accessible via www.pratt.edu on the day of the ceremony.
Extra tickets are not guaranteed, even if you completed an extra ticket request form. All graduates who complete the Grad App by December 31, 2025 and the ticket request form by March 6, 2026 can receive up to two (2) guest tickets. There will be a lottery for additional guest tickets depending on availability.
If you have more family members than tickets, we recommend checking with friends who may have tickets they do not expect to use. While tickets to the Pratt Commencement ceremony may not be bought or sold under any circumstances, we encourage graduating students to share with one another. All tickets are electronic and transferable.
Finally, the Commencement ceremony will be livestreamed – there will be a link at the top of www.pratt.edu page to the livestream on the day of the ceremony.
The person with the disability does not have to sit alone. Your entire party may sit together in the ADA/Disabilities Section. All graduates receive the same number of tickets, regardless of section.

If you think that your family member will need a wheelchair, please contact lac@pratt.edu and notify staff upon your arrival at Radio City Music Hall.
Service animals are always welcome at Radio City Music Hall. If you are requesting tickets for the ADA/Disabilities sections, it is helpful, though not essential, to let us know at that time that your family will be accompanied by a service animal. Reminder: no other pets of any size will be permitted inside the event venues.
