Pratt partners with the Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) on Perspectives, a six-part blended learning program for students, faculty, and staff. The program combines self-paced online lessons with opportunities to practice dialogue with peers and, when offered, participate in facilitated sessions.
Perspectives introduces practical tools for understanding why people may hold different beliefs, worldviews, and values; asking questions with curiosity; sharing stories; navigating conflict; and moving forward through disagreement. These tools can support creative practice, learning, leadership, and collaboration across the Institute.
Perspectives is one part of Pratt’s broader approach to engagement, culture, and community. Dialogue can strengthen the relational skills people need to participate, listen, communicate, and act with greater clarity.
Six interactive asynchronous lessons:
- The Divided Mind
- Us and Them
- Get Curious
- Storytelling
- Navigating Conflict
- Moving Forward Together
