Fostering Excellence. Building Community. Supporting Your Journey.
The Diverse Scholars Program (DSP) is a vibrant learning community within the Center for Educational Opportunity that supports students from diverse and underserved backgrounds who receive high merit or donor-funded scholarships. Through meaningful programming and intentional support, the DSP enhances each scholar’s experience at Pratt—academically, socially, and personally.
As a Diverse Scholar, you’ll engage with a close-knit cohort of peers, connect with mentors, and access exclusive workshops, wellness programs, and leadership opportunities—all designed to help you thrive.
Program Highlights
Diverse Scholars benefit from a range of optional activities, services, and community experiences at no additional cost, including:

- Dedicated College Counselor offering academic, personal, and professional guidance.
- Leadership and Employment Opportunities through program involvement and campus roles.
- Community Engagement through volunteer and service-based experiences.
- Social and Networking Events are designed to foster connections and celebrate achievements.
