Department-organized symposiums and workshops aim to reach across disciplines to generate new forms of knowledge and define new modes of practice. GAUD faculty and students are joined by leading experts and practitioners from a range of fields to investigate topics of contemporary importance relating society, politics, education, public information, public space, and the environment within the context of architecture.
