“Turning imagination into a digital reality - my advanced photoshop class taught by Sonya Shannon inspired me to push the limits with shadows & color, allowing me to create a visual representation of how I envisioned my younger sister’s inner world at the pool. While my photography and hand painted shadow work keeps the piece anchored to a sense of realism; I utilized prismatic colors channel layers in Adobe, to kindle a sense of nostalgia and abstractness.
