“My favorite aspect of taking the summer Graphic Design Intensive was how it encouraged me to learn from others. The class was a very collaborative environment and some of the criticism I got from other students ended up being key parts of my projects.”

Black-and-white typographic poster filled with distorted, overlapping letterforms and dense text compositions. A tall utility pole stands at the center, constructed entirely from repeated “Why” text. Power lines stretch outward in all directions, also made from tiny repeated letters. Large fragmented phrases—“Why do people have to live outside?”, “In tents,” “under bridges,” and “Living with nothing and horribly suffering”—arc across the layout. Visual noise created by thousands of tiny characters forms a chaotic texture around the pole, evoking urgency and social crisis. Near the bottom, an oversized “Why?” anchors the composition.
