Textbooks

Pratt textbook information is made available through the Colleague software.  The book information will be displayed to students on the Self-Service registration system when browsing and registering for classes.

Book data will also be visible through the one Pratt system on the ‘My Schedule’ feature after students are fully registered.  The Book Info link under ‘My Schedule’ in Self-service helps students search and check for pricing on the books.

Book data including title and ISBN for required textbooks will be collected from departments, and the data will be input into the Colleague system on individual sections by the Registrar’s Office.

Book data/information for Summer/Fall will be made available around mid-April, for Spring it will be made available in early November.

When possible, the library is purchasing a copy of textbooks requested as well, ideally in e-book format to allow for maximum access.

Faculty or students can search the library’s catalog for the book, and can even link directly to it from Canvas. If the library doesn’t already own the book, you can submit a suggest a purchase form to request the purchase.
