PBS featured the recent exhibition by Coby Kennedy, BID ’00, at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn that with an eight-by-ten-by-six-foot sculpture replicated the dimensions of a solitary confinement cell on Rikers Island. Kennedy’s installation, which is named for Kalief Browder who died by suicide after three years in the prison including over 700 days in solitary confinement, is now on view in Philadelphia as part of the Monumental Tour.
