Pratt Shows is a series of public exhibitions and presentations by Pratt Institute’s graduating class. Representing years of research, exploration, critical thinking, creative inquiry, problem-solving, growth, production, practice, and accomplishment, the shows celebrate student work leading up to Commencement in May.

The shows attract a wide audience from New York City’s diverse art and design communities and beyond. They provide students the opportunity to professionally exhibit their work, connecting Pratt talent to industry professionals and advancing new ideas in more than 30 academic fields within architecture, art, design, information, and the liberal arts and sciences.

Pratt Shows offers an opportunity to see what’s next, as graduating students prepare to join the ranks of Pratt’s 65,000 alumni who are advancing the creative economy and making a positive impact in New York City and around the world.

Bringing Pratt Shows to a broader design community, Pratt also partners with NYCxDesign, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for NYC’s design sector, both locally and internationally.

Pratt Shows represents a collaboration between the Pratt Communications and Marketing division and the Office of the Provost, working closely with each school.

Design Concept: Shaping Connections

The Pratt Shows 2026 design concept, Shaping Connections, serves as a window into the quintessential Pratt Shows experience—exhibiting, viewing, and celebrating culminating work with the wider creative and professional community and beyond. This identity explores the interplay of messaging and imagery within a dynamic frame, loosely derived from the capital P of Pratt’s logo as a means to “See What’s Next.” The bold typography and evergreen design aims to create instant recognition and visibility for Pratt Shows for years to come.

Developed by Pratt’s Communications and Marketing division, the design concept unites all materials produced to promote Pratt Shows in both digital and print, from advertising and signage to websites, posters, emails, and more.
