Through the long, quiet days between June and late August, just before the new semester begins, summer brings alive the lush grounds and landscaping of Pratt Institute’s beautiful Brooklyn campus in a truly unique way.

These photos by Katya Hall, BFA Photography ’19, offer an opportunity to pause and enjoy the beauty of campus in summer, from the mysterious play of sunlight and shadow in the courtyard behind East Hall to the tranquil majesty of the verdant lawns and brick pathways of the redesigned Engineering Quadrangle envisioned and supported by Pratt alumnus and Trustee Emeritus Bruce M.
