Shena Faith began working at Pratt in August 2011 in a role new for the institute. Due to an overwhelming need for assistance with the current expansion of the department and its offerings, the Associate Director position was created. Shena oversees all the fitness and wellness programming, as well as acts as a liaison between the athletic/recreation department and other departments on campus.

Shena holds a Master's of Education in Health and Physical Education from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's in Health and Exercise Science with a specialization in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Before coming to Pratt, Shena served as the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness Programs at the University of Vermont and the Graduate Assistant of Fitness and Wellness at Valdosta State University. In both positions she supervised the fitness and wellness programming, instituting new initiatives with each semester. She was responsible for enhancing the Group Fitness class schedules and launching an instructor training program. Shena worked to provide the campus community with programs that best suit their interest and needs. She also strived to mentor student staff to better prepare them for their professional lives after graduation. 

Shena's love of Campus Recreation began when she was a student at Rowan University. One week after classes started, she began work at Rowan's Student Recreation Center. Throughout her time there, she gained as much experience as she could in working in all areas of fitness and wellness. Shena obtained multiple fitness certifications from accredited national organization to increases her knowledge and during her senior year she decided to pursue a career in university recreation.
