Gelvin Stevenson, Ph.D., has been teaching Environmental Economics for nearly a decade. He puts on the monthly Greentech Investor Forum, where emerging greentech companies present their business plans to 20-30 angel or venture investors, engineers, attorneys and people looking for new technologies for the developing world. He also does business development for AgriPower, Inc., an innovative waste-to-energy company. Previously, he was a community organizer in the South Bronx and a writer at Business Week magazine. He serves on the boards of First Nations Development Institute and the Cherokee National Historical Society.
