George Louras is a visiting assistant professor in the Interior Design Department at Pratt Institute and an architectural designer, educator, and graphic artist based in Brooklyn. His individual practice focuses on collaborative working relationships with artists and architects, working on spatial interventions and graphic communication. George’s personal work focuses on a wide range of interests — the relationship of space and lifestyle, playspaces, satisfying shapes, and doing nothing. In addition to Pratt, he has taught at Parsons SCE and Columbia University’s GSAPP. He holds a Masters of Architecture from Columbia University's GSAPP and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He loves very small dogs and loud rap music.
