Biography

Duncan Hamilton is an Associate Professor in the School of Design at Pratt Institute. A noted designer, publisher and editor from the UK, Duncan is currently the lead creative and owner of The Uses of Literacy, a small independent design studio located in NYC. Previously he worked as Creative Director at Urban Outfitters and has organized art projects and exhibitions for the Arts Council of England, Frieze Art Fair, Cubitt Gallery in London and the Liverpool Biennial. He has an MFA in Communication Design from the University of Manchester.
