Biography

Yetunde Olaiya is an architectural historian, specializing in the history of modern architecture and urban design in sub-Saharan Africa. Her research focuses on the forms of expertise cultivated for architectural production in Francophone Africa after World War II. Yetunde has practiced architecture at firms in London, Chicago, and New York. She has taught histories of modern architecture, art, industrial design, and interior design, as well as architectural studio, at a range of institutions.
