Kyle Hovenkotter is a designer and educator in Brooklyn, New York. He has taught architecture and urban design since 2013 as an Assistant Professor at The Pratt Institute, and Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He is also a co-founder of the design practice JuneJuly. Hovenkotter received an M. Arch from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2012 where he was the recipient of the AIA Henry Adams Medal, and a B.A. in Architectural Studies from the University of Washington in 2008. Previously, he has taught architecture at The Cooper Union and Barnard College, and has worked as a designer, strategist and futurist for global brands and institutions like Google, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Wexner Center for the Arts.
