Biography

George Louras is a visiting assistant professor in the Interior Design Department at Pratt Institute and an architectural designer, educator, and graphic artist based in Brooklyn. His individual practice, Assorted Functions, focuses on collaborative working relationships with artists and architects, working on spatial interventions and graphic communication. George’s personal work focuses on a wide range of interests — the relationship of space and lifestyle, playspaces, satisfying shapes, and doing nothing. In addition to Pratt, he has taught at Parsons SCE and Columbia University’s GSAPP. He loves very small dogs and loud rap music.
