Biography

Benjamin Martinson is an architect at the New York office of Heintges Consulting Architects & Engineers, firm specializing in exterior envelope design. He was educated at the University of Colorado in Boulder (Bachelor of Music, Piano Performance 2005) and the Pratt Institute where he received his M.Arch I degree in 2008. Since graduating, he has worked at a number of firms, notably as a designer at KOL/MAC studio in New York, and as a project manager at the high-end residential firm, Studio Frazar. In addition to his professional work, Benjamin is a Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Pratt institute, where has taught various design and representation courses since 2008. Working across many software platforms, he specializes in envelope detailing, parametrics, BIM integration, architectural graphics and digital representation.
